You must prepare your wood before you begin smoking. Choose hardwoods that give your meat the best flavor. Walnut is an excellent choice for large pieces of meat, as it gives the meat an intense smoke flavor. White oak is a great option for smaller pieces, especially chicken. Before you cook anything, clean the smoker and add new charcoal. This will ensure that the heat remains constant so you can enjoy your favorite meat.

Make sure you cover the grates when smoking. This will help your meat stay off the grates and avoid sticking. You might also use a water pan in order to keep the vapors low. Fill the water pan with at minimum three quarters of the water and then fill it up to the top. This will allow for optimal smoking conditions. After the smoker has finished, you can begin to eat your succulent meat.

Once the meat is ready to go, fill the smoker with hot coal. Next, place the charcoal unlit on top of the meat. Next, remove the lid and allow the heat and smoke to escape. After two or three hours, the meat should be done. The smoky meat will be softer and tender after the charcoal has cooled. Make sure you have enough wood for smoking fish.

How to make a perfect omelet

Omelets is one of my favourite breakfast foods. But how do they turn out so perfectly? Many different recipes and methods have failed to work for me. So I am sharing some tips and tricks today to help you make fluffy, delicious omelets every morning.

First, eggs can be very temperamental ingredients for making omelets. Eggs must be purchased fresh, preferably organic, and kept chilled until ready for cooking. They must be kept cool, otherwise the whites will not form properly and the yolks may become runny. Your omelets will look strangely colored if this happens. If you're going to cook them immediately, it is best if the eggs are still warm.

Another tip is to separate your egg before adding it into the pan. The yolk and white should not be mixed together as this can cause the omelet's curdle.

You could end up burning the bottom half of the egg if the egg is added directly to the heat source. Instead, heat the egg in a microwave for 10 seconds and then place it in a pan. The microwave heat will cook the egg just right without making it too hot.

Next, let’s talk about mixing the egg. Mix eggs well together. You can do this by turning the bowl of your mixer upside down. Now shake the bowl vigorously. By doing this, the egg is thoroughly mixed with the air in the bowl.

The fun part is now - adding the milk to the mixture. Mix half of the milk with the eggs. Then fold the eggs in half into the remaining milk. Don't worry if there are still streaks of egg visible; these streaks will disappear once you flip the omelet.

After folding the eggs, place the pan on medium heat and wait for the oil to start sizzling. Add 1/4 cup butter to the oil and swirl it around to coat all sides of the pan. The lid should be carefully opened. Sprinkle salt in the pan. Salt will prevent the omelet sticking to the pan.

Cover the pan once the omelet is formed and allow it to cool completely. Flip the omelet with a spatula, or flip it upside down. Cook the second side for a minute or so. Take out the omelet and place it in a bowl.

This recipe is best when used with whole milk. But, you can use skimmed milk as well.
